I've been using this mat for 2 years now, it works just as well today as it did when I first got it. The color has stayed the same and it shows essentially no wear. My dog bowls fit in it perfectly, they don't budge and the mat doesn't budge. We have wood floors so we bought something to protect them from food and water spills: this works exactly as we hoped. Water gets soaked up, doesn't get on the floor. I've recommended it to every dog owner I know.
Our large lab "opened" this as a Christmas gift a week ago. I couldn't be more pleased. It looks great, and I no longer worry about someone slipping on the tile near her dish. The area stays completely dry now. Thanks!
I ordered the large burgundy waterhog pet place mat for our golden retriever. It is very sturdy and fits great with our large bowls. It definitely keeps the water on the mat and not on our hardwood floor. The only thing that I was disappointed in was the color. In the catalog and on the website, the burgundy color appears to be a very nice, dark burgundy but when I received the mat it actually had alot of grey mixed in. I even used the zoom in function on the website and the color on there appears to be a very dark burgundy without any grey in it. I just wish that color on my mat matched the color in the catalog & the website.
