Bought this item for our cat who knocks over the water and food. It drinkings up spilt water instantly. I don't care for the color I got it in but it works!!
Should have gotten this item several years ago. Now the puppy has a place for his water and food that not only looks nice, but helps keep his area dry. We are happy with the quality.
It is really absorbent and that is really why I got it. However, I am a little disappointed because my dog's name is actually not centered on the mat. The sample shown in the photo is 7 letters, my dog's name is 4. It may be because it's not an odd number of letters, but it looks "off" to me.
My 60lb slobbering pitty was no match for this mat. It keeps my kitchen floor clean and dry. The khaki color hides any messes. The larger size is plenty big enough to fit his 2 large stainless steel bowls. Money well spent.
