Our child, uh, dog, eats in our kitchen, which has a laminate floor. We bought the small pet placemat and it protects the floor very well, containing any spills. We also have two of the indoor door mats and they perform just as advertised. These mats are definitely worth the price.
I have 2 Labradors that LOVE to drink their water! This placemat is wonderful at keeping their bowl areas clean and keeping my floors dry. I used to have just a plastic placemat under their bowls that would get dirty very quickly. This mat is wonderful for those "messy eaters" too. I would recommend this to dog owners with large dogs, and it also makes a great gift because it is personalized.
I purchased one of these about 2 years ago and when we added another pooch last year I wanted to get another one - I have checked back many times over the past year and am so very happy to see these back in stock. I have 3 Shar-Pei, 1 who is a very clean drinker, two well are not, especially with all the extra skin around the mouth. I have hard wood floor and these mats are a god send to keep them looking great around the feeding/watering areas
I have 2 large dogs that drink alot. I ordered 2 mats so I can put one water soaked mat out to dry each day. I wish they had the lip (monogrammed part) on both sides of the mat. I don't know about most dogs but mine drink and flip excess water over the top of the bowl. I solved that by putting the monogrammed part at the top. But I would recommend this to any person that has a sloppy drinking dog. My floors stay dry, I don't slip in water, and the problem is solved.
