Got this for my golden retriever for Christmas, but it's more for me than her. I had a yucky plastic mat under her dishes that did nothing to protect my hardwood floors. This mat holds both of her bowls with no problem and soaks up any water that slops over the sides of her dish either while I'm setting the dish down or while she's drinking. Love this product! Have two waterhog rugs in my front entry and mudroom and love those two. Will be buying my third with my $10 coupon!
What a wonderful gift for my dog and for me! Very absorbant and the vacuum can run right over to pick up the crumbs. Delivery was quick, even with the personalization.
The quality of the material, its functionality as a pet place mat and the price make this product an excellent value. Although I got the mat more for its eye appeal - it looks very nice and neat - I was pleasantly surprised to find that the mat helped contain a lot of the water my lab usually loves to slobber all over the floor. This mat is well worth it.
The pet place mat is perfect for what we wanted as when our dog drinks, he makes a mess! But our bowls are a little big for the mat. If you want a perfect fit, the dog dishes should be 10" max across the base. At 10", you'll have a few inches around each bowl to catch any spilled food or water. Great mat!
