I really loved the look of this Mat when I first got it, but as time went on- it began to get moldy due to water spilling on it and fur would get woven into the creases- vacuuming only helped so much. this would be the perfect product if it could be thrown into the wash- Unfortunately- it's pretty much ruined after only 6 months. I would not recommend this product.

We're sorry you were disappointed with this mat and we'd like to help. Mold should not grow on the mat, but it may grow on food or other organic matter that remains on the mat. To clean your mat, we recommend washing it outside with mild liquid dish soap and water. Use a spray nozzle, pressure washer or scrub brush, then rinse and hang the mat to drip dry.

Was very nice initially but really wish this was able to be thrown in the wash. After a few months, it's really dirty and has dog hair woven into it. Vaccuming it doesn't help enough. Not sure what to do with it now except toss it out.
ProsDurable, Great Value, Performing as Expected, nice looking
I have waterhog rugs at all my entrances and have purchased them for my kids. I don't know what took me so long to purchase a Waterhog Pet Place Mat for my messy little white terrier! It works great and looks nice in the kitchen.
Arrived in just a few days. Very well made and very nice looking. Keeps the water off of the hardwood floor. My new puppy loves it because she can now drag both bowls around the kitchen at the same time.
