This is really nice quality belt. the leather is smooth and supple. The sizing is a little big, even if one wears it lower around the hips. I am keeping the large I ordered. I have to wear it on the smallest hole and only can wear it with my lowest jeans. If I were to order another one, I would size down to a M. I especially like how it lays flat and doesn't add inches to the waist if one is wearing a shirt over the top of it.
I purchased this belt because I wanted leather, not a cheap imitation. And I purchased it because of LLBean's reputation for quality. I was not disappointed. Yes, it is a little long but that is much, much better than being too short and skimpy!!
This is a wonderfully solid and well-made belt with beautiful, matte leather. It sits flat and is very rich looking. Perfect for jeans and other casual pants. I was so pleased that I bought another one in the other color (BTW, the brown is a very dark brown). I never have been so happy with a belt before!
So love this belt! Just what I needed to work with everything! Real thick supple leather that will last forever. Belt and buckle lay very flat so doesnt show as lumpy under a shirt. And looks very nice when it does show. This isnt thin or decorative but it looks very stylish and matches everything unless you are looking for some very dressy look. I will wear this belt 99% of the time with everything.
