This is a very nice, good quality belt. Based on the size chart and my normal pant size of 4-6, I ordered a size small. When the belt arrived, I discovered that I had to use the second hole with lower-waisted pants and skirts. Concerned that the belt might look too small, I called customer service to inquire and learned that the next size would be 2 inches longer (and thus too long). If you order this belt to wear with lower-waisted pants, you may want to order at the large end of your size range.
I have been wanting a basic jean belt for a long time. The price and quality of this belt from Bean is just what I was looking for. I was worried about size because I wear a size 8 jeans, so I got a medium. It is a tight fit for my jeans that sit low on my hips, but it is perfect for the jeans that are more "mid-rise" so I am very happy. As always the quality is great!
