I am a size 14 and ordered the large sized belt. It fits, but I need one more hole punched to make the belt tighter. I am glad that I read other reviews before I ordered my belt. It is well made and I know it will last a long time.
Rarely wear belts but was looking for one specifically for my jeans. This one is perfect. Well made, nice leather. BUT heed the other reviews and get it one size smaller. I thought sure I'd need an XL but after reading all the reviews got the Large and it fits perfectly. Buckle is very nice too. Not shiny. This belt will last me forever.
This belt is made of good supple leather that forms nicely to the curves, and for the price is a good value, especially compared to the low-quality bonded leather one generally sees these days. Like other reviewers have said, the sizing runs large. I bought both the x-small and small sizes to wear with different jeans, which was worth it because they should last for years. The small is 34.5 inches from where the leather begins to the middle hole and fits my size 6 low-rise jeans; the x-small is 32.5 inches and fits mid-rise jeans. Hope this helps!

i love, love, love this belt! i was looking for a belt that wasn't too thin, wasn't too thick. i don't like belts that have gold or coppery colored buckles. i didn't want one that would look like it was ten years old after only a couple of uses. can you tell that i'm picky? as usual, l.l. bean did not disappoint. this belt is soft and comfortable. i've worn it several times now and it looks the same as when i first took it out of the packaging. the price was extremely competitive as well. although, i do have to say, that wasn't my motivator for buying this belt at l.l. bean. in the years of shopping here, i've only had to return things 3 times. i like how it is hassle- free. there's never an issue, and the people are always so nice!
