This is a great looking belt. Unfortunately the extra small was still way too big for me (5'2", size 4 petite). It was also a bit too wide to look good on me. But it is so nicely made that I gave it to my husband!
I ordered a small and a medium as I wasn't sure which size would fit. The small is actually very large, I need to have some cut off of length but I like too much to send back
I love the feel of this belt & the matte finish on the buckle. I ordered a large because I wanted it for jeans that have a lower rise. Unfortunately, it is way too big. LL Bean says that the length is measured from where the leather attaches to the buckle to the middle hole. For a large it is suppose to be 36", but the belt I received was 38 1/2". The medium is suppose to be 33" to the middle hole. The 1st hole is at 35" and the last hole at 31". Hope this helps you.
I ordered both the black and brown belts to wear with jeans. The brown belt was back ordered, and I've not received it yet. The black belt was shipped quickly, is of good quality, and was reasonably priced. It works well with jeans or casual pants. Fits well, too. I searched extensively for the right belt for jeans. This is the first good quality, reasonably priced thick belt that I've found that works with jeans that sit lower on the waist or on the hips. Very happy with the purchase.
