Great lunch bag with solid craftsmanship. This bag is durable, washable and is the perfect size. I would highly recommend if this bags shape and color is what you are looking for.
I really wanted to like this lunch box. The design online looks great and it's LL Bean so that means the quality will be there. I bought this specific lunch box for the strap design, so my child could carry it separately, and to match the backpack. It is A PAIN to carry because the design of the strap is very poor -- it makes the lunch box "flip". I decided to still use it for myself (instead of returning it) but did not send it with my child on trips or to school because it's too much of a nuisance. I may have to look elsewhere for lunch boxes this year, which is too bad.
I had to reach out and share that this lunch box is amazing. My son just graduated high school and he has had the same lunch box for 4 years of high school. He brings a big lunch so he cannot use any type of bag. This lunch box held up for 4 years of high school being used everyday! I would wipe it out with a disinfected wipe and occasionally just throw it in the laundry. It is still in great shape after 4 years. Everyone else I know buys a new lunch box or 2 every year but this $25 lunch box is all we ever needed.
Size is nice and large. However the handle needs to be fastened better- have repaired this twice this year....need to redesign the handle for the weight carrying lunch and drink in top compartment. Shoulder strap is also clumsy....would probably not buy another. also the lining is thin and has ripped/split.
