Not enough teachers have written about how this will carry enough food for lunch and breakfast. It is not huge, however. So it will not feed construction workers. But because of its soft sides, I have room for real utensils, food in containers, napkins, a frozen water bottle that defrosts in time for lunch, cheese sticks, sandwich, and more. Perfect size and weight. I got pink but there might not be more right now because only this blue print is appearing for my comments. Love it!
My 5th grader chose this lunch box for the style and long strap. After a couple days use she is happy with the lunch box. However, it is VERY hard to get to the name tag to write the student name on it. The name tag is inside the mesh liner in the top of the box. Also, the lunch box seems to constantly flip over on the long strap which means the lunch box is hanging upside down.
We got this lunch box for our oldest son when he started kindergarten, he just started 4th grade this year and still has this lunch box!!!! This is not a kid who occassionaly takes his lunch, he has taken his lunch everyday since he started school and this lunchbox has been through it all and still looks new!! It has grown with him as he's gotten older and needed to pack more food this lunch box holds a lot, that's why I'm back to buy little brother one too!
My son and daughter are on year 3 of these lunchboxes and they still look/function well. Well worth the money spent and the guarantee is great too. Handle came off my daughters lunchbox and LL Bean replaced it, no questions asked. LOVE IT! Wished I could personalize the lid of the lunchbox as that would be extremely helpful given there are similar lunchboxes at school.
