My children have been using these lunch boxes for the last two years and they are in perfect condition. I only wish LL Bean would have the option to monogram the lid with their name as that would be a big help.
My 8 year old has had this item for over a year now. It has been used as a school lunch box daily and washed 2 to 3 times per week. Still looks good (stained but I don't see how we could avoid that). The only sign of wear and tear come from holes on the inside made by the fork, probably when it was being shoved in a school bag. The lunch box he had before only lasted 4 months, so this is pretty good. I also like the fact that it fits a reasonable meal for a BIG eater and very active kid.
