disappointed
PostedJanuary 30, 2012
I have purchased different version of this flip-top lunch box for my kids before, but this time the handle broke within 1 month. Very disappointing! My daughter really loves the fabric with the woodland creatures, but it's time to return it since she's pretty much stopped using it because there is no handle!

Disappointed in quality
PostedJanuary 20, 2012
I am extremely disappointed in the quality of this lunch box, particularly for an LL Bean product. I expected this to last atleast a school year, and the stitching on the handle has completely shredded. Sadly, there are no other options left to replace the blue camo or even solid royal at this point in the year. I would expect there to atleast be some year-round supply--not just at the beginning of the school-year. Not to mention, this should not happen. Reading the other reviews, I am apparently not the only one for which the webbing on this handle has completely disintegrated.

disappointed with quality

This lunch box is expensive, much too expensive to have the stitching on the handle totally come apart after 3 months of typical school use. I spent more for an LL Bean lunch box because I thought I could count on its lasting for a long time, and I can't even convey how disappointed I am.
I have four children and have purchased a lot of lunch boxes from various places over the years. I've never gotten a dud lunch box before, and I'm shocked and sad that the dud is coming from LL Bean.
