I bought this a year after I bought a "critter" lunchbox for my grandson and it has held up much better than the critter one. Easy to wipe out and washes up nicely in the machine. I like that it holds a standard size water bottle with mesh divider that collects any condensation. Plenty of room for a LARGE lunch. I will purchase this item again should his ever wear out. Still looks brand new!
This lunch box is just the perfect size for school! The prints are great (we have 2 different ones), and there is plenty of space for everything! The net beverage holder works beautifully, and after a year of daily use, both still look great! When it's time to replace, we will look for the same style/size again.
I have two of these patterned lunch boxes and I really like them. I am a professional and I carry my lunch to work. It holds a plastic container, ice pack, water bottle, yogurt, and other foods and snacks as well as silverware and napkins. Everything sits flat and I can take soup without it spilling. I get tons of compliments on it! It keeps food cold and is easy to clean. The handle and shoulder strap are both nice and convenient.
I have purchased a total of 3 different types of lunch box from LLBean and this is by far my favorite. The size is large enough to fit a sandwich, piece of fruit and a bag of chips without the chips getting smashed. The top has a mesh pocket I have used to hold various combinations of items (Ice pack and yogart, napkin and placticware or just chips). The lunch box also seems to resist being crushed down better than the other traditionally shaped lunch boxes.
