I purchased 3 of these earlier in the year to be ready for this new school year. Didn't want to take the chance that our favorite colors would be sold out! I am really impressed with the quality of the bags. They are a nice size and we have had no trouble fitting in everything we want for lunch in them. I always use re-usable containers for the foods I pack and they all fit in perfectly, with room to spare. The stainless steel thermos fits in the lid, a square sandwich container, a rectangle container for chips or fruit and 2 smaller round containers with snacks and/or applesauce or pudding. And there is still room for more. We are very pleased with our LLBean lunchbags!
This is a terrific lunchbox. It is a bit smaller than I anticipated but it holds all of my lunch items and keeps them cold for hours. The shoulder strap is a great benefit if you are carrying a lot of bags or books.
This lunchbox is fantastic. I make lunch for school everyday and this easily holds all the little containers of hummus and grapes, stainless steel water bottle, sandwich or wraps etc... My daughter takes lunch, 2 snacks, and a stainless steel water bottle every day with plenty of room. Thanks for such a great product!
after showing my 8 year old son every lunchbox there was he decided on this one. when it arrived he was very excited, i was surprised how small it was. for him it is perfect, he doesn't eat much, but there is no way an older child could use it. i tested it out for him and used it one day for work. i could fit the sandwich container a bag of chips and a yogurt in the main part and i put my drink in the flip top lid and it was packed full. the construction is awesome, the handle is sturdy and comfortable. i would recommend this to anyone with younger kids or to anyone who doesn't need to pack much. our sandwich container has a built in ice pack in the lid and at lunch time between the small ice pack and the awesome insulating bag everything was refrigerator cold, including the drink.
