This lunch bag is exactly what I was looking for. We have a small refrigerator at work, but it is always full...so I needed a lunch bag that I could put a couple of cold packs in...So instead of putting a drink in the mesh area, I put in two cold packs and my lunch stays cold and perfect for lunch time. I would recommend this to anyone who carries their lunch to work....
I purchased this lunchbox for my son to replace one of the same style that had simply been worn out. That one was purched at a well-known discount store for less than $10.00. I wanted one that would be durable so decided to order one from LL Bean. We were both disappointed when it came becase it was very flimsy. It was thin and would not stand up on its own. I was really disappointed and have packaged it up so that I can return it.
This lunch box had everything I wanted, especially a shoulder strap. However, the shoulder strap is attached right in the middle of the sides of the box, so if you put a drink in the lid (which is where a drink is designed to go) the box always flips upside down. The strap needs to be attached at a higher spot. If you don't care about having a shoulder strap this is a really great lunch box.
