Great item! I love the seamless interior. My kindergartner can really make a mess and this lunch box is easy to wash out and clean. The top mesh portion is perfect for bottled water and you don't have to worry about it mashing the rest of the lunch. It is very sturdy and stands up to abuse. My only complaint would be that you can't get it monogrammed.
The LL Bean Flip Top Lunch Box is weathering the seventh grade with style. It is getting high marks from both my daughter and me. On many days, my daughter takes a thermos filled with pasta for lunch along with a bottle of water and additional drink. The lunch box not only holds this but various other snacks and treats. It is sturdy, easy to pack and clean and has enough room for the "power lunches" that seem to be the favorite in our house right now. We're flipping for the Flip-Top Lunch Box.
The size, the inside lid compartment, the outside pocket, and the length of time that items stay cold are all features that make this an excellent lunch box.
This is a very nice lunch box, it replaces one my Grandson has been using for four years. This was his choice, I find it doesn't hold its shape as well as the old one but is still very nice. Water bottle in lid makes it a little top heavy but it allows you room for a small ice pack with the bottle and one on the bottom also. It's great for a hungry boy.
