We recently bought a back pack and this lunch box for our daughter who is in second grade. I am so glad they came out with this size lunch box. I was always squishing in her lunch and goodies, plus never could really fit a good size water bottle in because there wasn't enough room. Well this NEW lunch box it GREAT!! I love the fact that they put in a compartment when you open up the lunch box for water. I can put a 20 oz bottle in there with no problem. Plus the room of the lunch box is super. Nothing gets squished anymore. So much room to fit plenty of rubbermaid containers and much more! Thank you Thank you LLBEAN for this new item!
My daughter just loves this lunchbox! It has so much room that she can fit a water bottle or two in there plus lunch and snacks. She has type 1 diabetes and there is plenty of room for extra snacks and sugar. I can send her to school with enough food to last throughout the day and it will stay cool. The best thing is the shoulder strap. We love this so much my husband bought one for his lunch! We love ll bean :)
I just bought 2 of these for my kids for school this year. They are a nice size. I like that the inside of the top has a mesh panel to help keep things separate, such as the ice pack or things that could get smashed. The shoulder strap is great too, because the kids cannot always fit a lunch box in their backpacks and this makes it super easy for them to still be able to carry it. The only thing that I wish it had was the ability to monogram it. I was disappointed that was not an option. However, all in all, I am very pleased with this lunch box and think it will be able to serve the kids for the next few years.
I use this for car trips along with my big cooler. This small one is great for the little snacks when I don't want to attempt to unbuckle my seatbelt on the highway to dig into a large cooler in the back seat. A wonderful convenience!
