I have another lunch bag that has the same dimensions as this one yet this one is not even close in size to it. Maybe measured on the outside rather than the inside? who knows.... I was as going to return it but for $6.50 return shipping forget it I'd rather just donate it to a back to school drive and write it off on taxes. Other than the size issue it is a very nice lunch bag. First time LL Bean shopper and given the poor return shipping cost I won't be back.
We bought two of these for our kids and they've been using them for about six years now and are still in great shape!!! They are a little stained from spills over the years but otherwise perfectly useable!!! Love these!!!! Do yourself a favor and get one! We are going to buy new ones but we will still be using the old ones for picnics etc.!
We have become attached to these lunch boxes. They last about two years and that is usually cause they are just worn looking, not used up. Enough room for a great size lunch and ice packs. I can event get a thermos of soup in the upper level and pack cooled items on the bottom with chips.
They are so rugged, the kid's used lunch boxes are passed along to dad who then uses them for another two years. By then no one cares what his construction site does to the lunch box's beauty.
The construction and design are matched by no other.
I bought this lunchbox for my daughter for school 7 years ago when she was in 1st grade. We are finally replacing it after 7 school years of taking her lunch every day. Great lunchbox. The outside is still in great shape, only stained from numerous spills, etc. The inside ripped a few times starting after about 4 years of use but since the outside was in such great shape we were able to stretch the life by making repairs to the inside with duck tape...has worked great! I highly recommend this lunchbox!!
