I was out at the Burlington, MA store and I saw this bag. I have wanted one for a while now! So I picked one up!
The bad is HUGE! This is replacing my older smaller messenger bag from another company.
Quality is all here! Its made very well. It has a ton of pockets and room! Its well build and doesnt feel likes its gonna fall apart on you. This is perfect for a student or just day to day use! Zippers every where and clips shut. What more can you ask for?
Plus you cant beat the LL Bean return policy! Yet another plus to buy this bag!

I am a busy mom and needed an functional bag to use as a Diaper Bag. I purchased 3 diff diaper bags from equally reputable store but they either had very few color choices, poor quality or simply too awkward. I decided to purchase this bags because i've realized (on my 3rd choked) that messenger bags have easy access to everything inside and are comfortable to carry. So after reading 170 out of the 213 reviews on this bag i decided to go with it. i purchased the Large. I read some reviews that claim this bag to be smaller than expected so its my believe that they ordered the Med size one because the large is BIG i even questioned my self on the size because i thought maybe it was too big. i'm only 5"1' and it look bis when i carry it but it is very functional i carry a small lunch bag/cooler (which hole 3 small bottles, a yogurt, and a ice cup, 6 diapers, wipes 2 complete sets of clothing and her snacks Thats what i would normally carry when planning a whole day out. the front compartments fit my cell phone, lipstick, wallet and a water bottle on the side. the strap is too wide although nicely padded for when used as a student. overall its functional for what i need now. and i'm sure to get great use of it years to come when out with the family!

... a bag that is better than a backpack. That holds lunches, books, writing tools, drinks, everything without being large & heavy but, is big enough to do just that. Multitude of pockets to separate all the misc, items ones carries.
Strap is neat, padded with quick release the change length while wearing. Cell pocket is great for a quick energy bar if you cell phone is not slim & a flip one.
This a bag for a life time. A bag where one feels the need to order a second one to have as a replacement when this wears out in the distance future.
This bag is the perfect size for me. I'm only 5' so most bags are too bulkly. My only complaint is the back pocket when I unsnapped it the snap came through. But I didn't return the bag because I loved it so much. I would very much recommend this bag to anyone. I use it to carry all my things to work. Lunch,books,papers,shoes and snack. Lots of room and comfortable over my shoulder.
