I bought two messenger bags. One was the medium size. The other was the large size. Both are useful and user friendly. I use the medium one for everyday errands and tasks. I use the large one for going to the pool, or to a picnic. They are sturdy and attractive.
I LOVE this bag. I carry a laptop back and forth everyday and the ones issued from my employer are too large and heavy. I bought this one and it is the perfect size for my laptop and the shoulder strap is VERY comfortable. I would consider buying another one.
My 9 year old son wanted this bag for school last year. Knowing LLBean products are durable, I hoped it was worth the extra money as the previous year we had been thru 3 backpacks in the school year. We were not disappointed! This backpack lasted the entire year and my son even wants to use it this coming school year as it still looks new. We ordered the large bag which is big for him, but he likes having the extra room for all of his things. Would definitely buy another one :)
