perfect size for my kids. Next year I plan to upgrade size for my 4th grade child, but my first graders will use this bag over and over. Wonderful, quality product.
the messenger baq in medium is the PERFECT size for every day use. I wish the cell phone pocket was a little wider for a blackberry. Lots of pockets. Purple is a great color.
This is a wonderful bag. I use mine for work purposes, but this would be great for a student too. The medium is just the perfect size. I love the fact that I can keep my folders in it, a book, a knitting project, and still have separate pockets for pens, my cell phone, lotion, headache meds, and a clip for my keys! I don't clasp the little clasps closed--I tend to never do that, but the flap says closed. The shoulder strap is also incredibly comfortable too.
I bought this to carry around my college books. The good: It holds a lot, so I didn't have to haul around a purse. The inside pockets held my books, notebooks, wallet, MP3 player, pens, pencils etc. It kept everything well protected from the weather and the zip top kept everything inside no matter what position the bag took on my car seat.
The biggest drawback was not having a specific place to carry a water bottle. I used the MP3 pocket, which is plenty big, to carry a water bottle and kept my MP3 player inside my bag. As an older student, the water bottle held priority over constant MP3 access.
