I purchased the small purse size bag, and while the bag has great features, it's a little bulky when it hangs from my hip. It's also a little inconvenient when you have to click open the flap and then unzip the main compartment to take out your wallet (but it also serves as a great deterent to pick-pockets). Also the wide shoulder strap is always getting twisted inside the plastic guide when I put the bag down.
I have one in each size. The mini really is almost too small, I wish they still offered the small, but it is still a great bag. The medium I use every day and the large is for vacation or the gym. I really think they are an outstanding value for the money.
I am a full-time doctoral student and this bag is perfect for hauling both textbooks and notebooks. The strap is easy to adjust and also stays in place. It is a very comfortable bag to carry, even when it is well-loaded.
