I am not a person who likes carrying a purse, but this one keeps everything separate and so handy that I take it everywhere. Love the adjustable handle so I can easily hang it on my shoulder.
I bought the HeatWave Messenger Bag for work. I had been looking for a new bag for a few months after a bag from another company broke. I am very happy with my purchase. The HeatWave has a lot of padding on the shoulder strap. This keeps me from feeling weighed down on my subway trips to and from Queens and Midtown Manhattan. I also like that the bag has plenty of storage space and that I'm able to keep all my odds and ends organized.
The room in this thing is awesome! I can fit all my books in plus my laptop which is exactly what I was looking for. I do have two complaints, I have it so the bag is on the left side of my body which means the MP3 hole and the cell phone pocket is at my back. Did you ever try getting a ringing cell phone out of something on your back that has a lot of books in it so it can't be thrown down easily? yeah not easy. And also, I'm 5'2" on a good day and this bag goes down to my knees and I now have bruises from it banging up against myself. I've figured out how I can sort of keep it away but it is still to long and it can't be shortened anymore. Like I said before, the room is great, and there are tons of pockets for all types of fun stuff. I really like the two pockets specifically for folders or the like.
