I am using the medium size bag as a diaper bag and love it. I originally got a "Carryall Diaper Bag" and was disappointed in the shape and strap. This bag has an excellent "messenger" padded strap and carries just as much if not more than the Carryall Diaper bag with out all the fussy sections. I am 5'4" and it hangs appropriately and the size is perfect. The strap adjusts and the only issue I have is that the clip is sometimes hard to open on the flap. Other than that very minor issue I highly recommend this as a diaper or work bag.
I purchased this bag because I needed something that would carry my study guides and books onto campus. I have a very large LL Bean tote bag, which I love, but I wanted something smaller that would make me feel a bit more "collegiate." This gets the job done. The shoulder strap is padded and very comfortable. The bag has a ton of pockets for note cards, pens, my cell phone, and my ID. There are a few other pockets that I'll be using soon. The bag is strong, because I'm not easy on it, and it still looks great and performs great. Get this bag!
The material in the bag is a lighter weight than I expected. Given my experience with other LL Bean products, however, I expect the bag will hold up well over time.
I bought this to go between home-work, and also for a conference I had to attend. The multiple pockets made it easy to have everything I needed in one place. I can even fit my purse in the main section, along with my e-reader!
