I bought this item for my husband for Christmas and he loved it. The sound quality for the radio is really good, it looks nice and it will no doubt come in handy during power outages and camping trips.
Great idea. We bought one for each car. If you have no batteries, need weather data, flashlight or just want to hear some tunes while using solar energy this is a very clever product. Leave it to L.L. Bean to provide such a useful item!
Both my adult sons are on the road a lot and were delighted to get these for Christmas. They said it's the perfect item for traveling. I'm happy because it will help me to worry a little less when they're traveling the busy California freeways.
I had the thing charging in the straight sun for over 10 hours and the power lasted but 2 minutes. Same thing with the cranking. I cranked it 100 times and power lasted for less than a minute. This thing is a joke, ceratinly for the money.
