Three useful attractive lifesavers - all in perfect working order for any future emergency power outages were gratefuly received by 3 adult children. I will probably now order one for me!
We ordered this the day after a major power outage where we were caught completely off-guard (no extra batteries, no candles, no fire wood--I know, how ridiculous!). I started looking for some crank radios and other survival and camping gear.
The size is right--it fits neatly in our utility room and in the glove box of our car while traveling. It's easy to crank and has great reception on the radio. And the solar panel means that it can charge all day for use that evening! We've been thrilled (with two additional power outages, we've been able to get weather reports while finding our way through the maze that is our apartment in the dark).
I love that it comes in multiple colors--we plan to buy some extras for the kids.
It is a nice compact device with a long play and light time when charged. Had another brand and it had a poor play/light time. I don't give 5 stars will add another in 1 year if the performance continues. I do recommend it for the camper/ backpacker.
