This radio fits in the palm of your hand. It gets great radio reception and keeps its charge for hours. The light is bright with LED bulbs. It fits in pockets. I am thinking about buying another I like it so much.

I haven't used it for camping yet, but it is a gret size for packing, even in a backpack I think. I've had another solar/crank radio/flashlight (not LL Bean) that I have used around the house in power outages, etc, but it was too bulky to take camping. I was surprised and pleased by the small size of this one which includes a weather band as well. I cranked it for about 30 seconds and it was already receving radio stations and putting out a great light. I look forward to using it for years to come. I will probably pack it in the bubble bag it came in to protect it though.
When I received my radio I was disappointed in the size, thinking it was smaller than I was led to believe. After playing with it for a while I realized that the size was perfect for its intended use. I am very pleased.
LOVE IT! I keep one in my car & we got these as gifts for our families to keep in their cars, too. Wish the crank would give more than a 1-2 minute phone call, but sometimes that's all you need.
