I give this to my 3 boys as a christmas present and they loved it. They can listen to their favorite music station and the weather. Most important can use as a flashlight too and no need to use a battery because it is solar. Also they use it for thier cellphone charger.. Thank you LLbean for this goodproduct and good quality.
Small size, but lots of features. Great for camping or long over the road trips. Also nice to weather watchers. If the power ever goes out, this is the one to have!
I like the radio. I have not used it out and about, but I like the idea of listening to the radio, charging the cell phone, MP3 player, etc and having a flashlight and if the batteries die, you can charge the radio by cranking.
I recently bought my second solar dynamo to give at our family Christmas gift exchange. The recipient was my uncle who loves to bike, hike, camp. He also is cheap and tries to be eco-friendly so not having to buy batteries is perfect for him. I bought the first radio and gave it to my husband who is also an outdoorsman: hunting, camping, fishing. He has not been kind to his solar dynamo radio and light but it still works great after 2 years.
