This little gadget was a hit for my "hard to shop for" husband. He loved the compact design and how easy it was to power up with the hand crank or solar panels. The radio has optional earplug input and it has a USB port to power up cell phones or other devices. This great little gadget packs a lot of power in a little package.

I ordered two of these radios a few weeks ago, mainly for camping, but they came in so handy this past week, when we were hit with the blizzard of 2010, our electricity when out for two days, when I opened up up my new solar/crank radio, it was so small, I did not expect much, but I have to tell you it was AWESOME, it came already charged and lasted the entire outage without even cranking it, I put it in on the windowsill during the day. We had music when we wanted and news to keep us in touch, So happy with it! Thank you!
Got this as a Xmas gift, this is a great item to keep in your car, for hunting, fishing, camping... I was impressed with the reception of the radio. It's best to always be prepared, you never know what's going to happen.
This radio was open first on xmas by my husband and with a few (15) cranks it provided 3 hours of music. It also has great reception we were surprised at the variety of stations it could get. We live in a rural area and the large Soney sterio in our house only gets 2 channels.
