What a great product this is. When I ordered it I wasn't sure it would perform as well as I thought it should. Boy was I surprised. It exceeded my expectations. You have to really hold this small radio and see all of the features to truly appreciate it. And the quality of the speakers is excellent for such a small radio. I ordered a second one as a gift for some friends who do a lot of outdoor activities during the summer and their old crank radio just broke. They will love this as much as I do.
We ordered one for a tornado victim and it was like a security blanket. We ordered one for ourselves and placed it in the guest bedroom. Our guest carried it everywhere. Great sound and good light in spite of the small compact size. The guest took ours so we have had to replace. We travel with our new one. It is easy to pack, can be used as a flashlight in strange surroundings, and gives a radio to listen to.
We got our solar dynamo just four days before a storm took out our power for two days. The radio and light worked great! The cell phone charger should be considered for emergency charging only. You have to crank about 5 minutes to get any charge registered on your phone.
If I were still traversing the country on my motorcycle this would be with me. It is light, compact, decent sound/volume and lacked only one feature for home purchase: the ability to plug into AC until the battery power was the required sorce.
