Must purchase USB port to adapt your cell phones to their cell phone adapter kit. A lot of connectors! Other then the problem of making it usable for weekends away, it is surprisingly compact and includes weather band channel. My son said he would have loved it if he could charge up his phone while he was away Takes a lot of winding for a few minutes of talk time. But it is solar charged. I love it for it's diverse functionality. Radio, WB, flashlight, & cell phone charger. Take it to store to get correct USB connecter for your adapter kit. If LLB sold me correct adapter would have given this product 5*
