I have owned several products like the Solar Dynamo Radio Light from other companies, and they have not been as sturdy and reliable as this one. Good job L.L. Bean.
a great little radio, the only problem was the phone adapter. the ubs adapter was almost equal to the cost of the radio itself and since everyone in the family uses a different ubs adapter it became the tail wagging the dog. the person on the phone was deligtful and understood the problem. a delight to talk to.
I got the radio for myself. In the past I have given them as gifts for anyone who lives in areas that see bad weather. Now I live in that kind of area. The best features include the crank for lasting reception without need of batteries. Second is that is lightweight. And third the flashlight is extremely bright and makes me feel safe. I would recommend it to any and everyone.
