I really did not need another radio. I bought this on impulse. It is well built and gets the local stations surprisingly clear. I keep it by my recliner and listen primarily to a sports station. Once in a while I listen to the weather band. It is an attractive little radio.
This is more than a bargain for no more than it cost. Just think..no batteries...crank to charge and we have immediate light, a radio and a place to charge a cell phone in an emergency. I'm glad LLBean recognized the quality of this product to offer in their line of products. These will make great Christmas gifts.
