This is better than I thought. The light is bright, radio strong. Thankfully haven't had to use it yet but with all the crazy storms we've had you never know. Thanks.
Our family spends a lot of time outdoors and we go camping often. The radio was smaller than I anticipated, but that has actually been a great thing as we try to pack light for our trips. We love the flashlight component and even though we have not had to use the cell phone charger yet, I'm sure it will be a handy tool when needed.
My brother - a driving instructor- loves the up to the minute weather report that covers all of Western New York. He leaves the radio on the dashboard where it charges effortlessly. My nephew, the fisherman, keeps his in his truck; the other nephew can get hurricane warnings for Southern Florida. And the radios arrived already tuned to their local NOAA stations.
I like this little radio, and it was working when I received it, but I just set it in the sun on the floor to charge before going to the beach. I wanted Orange to find it easily in the beach bag, but waited too late, and the Pink is great. It's nice to have the weather bands, and the teenaged girls used it for music at the beach each day of our recent family vacation at Myrtle Beach, SC.
