I haven't traveled with it yet but I did set it up at home. 90 seconds of cranking got the radio and light working. I did find cranking it a little awkward, but I have big hands. Radio came in nice and clear once I found the right channel to tune in. The light is very bright. I have it setting in a window and that keeps it charged up. The light is nice and bright and handy for me to have it right by the door and ready to go.,
This little appliance is fabulous; bought it for our RV and am so very pleased with the quality, the radio sound quality and the weather radio feature. The power lasts a long time before cranking it up again and the light is very bright, most useful when you are without power.

This is an excellent product for those of us to keep in our Hurricane Preperation kit - the flashlight is bright and the radio reception even on weather band is excellent - still having difficulty trying to find a cord to use it to charge my cell phi=one in an emergency but this may be due to the fact that I have an older model phone
I was amazed to see how small this radio is. The sound was very good and it has such great features such as a light and cell phone charger. I have given them as gift and got many thanks for this wonderful product. The best thing is there are no batteries. It is always ready to go.
