I was very pleased with this radio/light. It was small, solar powered, and very necessary here in the Northeast, where hurricanes can bring down all the power lines. It also has great clarity in sound.
We live in NE Florida and while we have a weather radio with a battery back-up, I thought this would be a good addition to the household. It does everything it advertises to do and is compact and functional. It will go with us should we ever need to evacuate our beautiful barrier island.

This radio is a handy, compact unit that can be used for emergencies, power outages, camping and while at the beach. It has good reception on all bands, a bright flashlight, and an easily used crank for emergency power for the radio, flashlight, and cell phone. It takes very little storage space, to make it easily available when really needed. We feel more secure having it around, especially during hurricane season here in Florida! Thanks L.L. Bean!!
I am thrilled with this radio. Not only is it small, but it gets great reception. I am an avid talk radio listener and I am so impressed that I can get stations that I couldn't get on my bigger battery operated radio or on my stereo. the LED light is an extra bonus. Since I live in South FL, I now feel better prepared for the next hurricane. A definate buy!
