Wonderful little radio. Although it is small it has remarkable sound quality. I listen to it when I am working in the garden or just sitting on the patio. On a sunny day it goes and goes and goes.
I was slightly disappointed that an AC/DC recharge cord didn't come with the radio, but the reception is excellent & it's nice to have something that works in a blackout, even if it takes a lot of cranking.
When I brought this home my husband asked me if we really needed another radio or flashlight. We took this on our next camping trip and it quickly became indispensable. Need a quick weather report? No problem! Want a bit of music at the campsite? Reception was pretty good. Walking the dog at 10 PM? Easy, with the bright LED light, to avoid stumbling over tree roots and stepping in mud puddles. And all of this from a little unit that fits in the palm of your hand! Oh, and there's no batteries to worry about. It's easy to crank and emits enough light to really be useful. It's earned a permanent place in our rig.
Love it!!! Some great things do come is small packages and this is one of them. It's sturdy, has good features. The radio is clear and the solar component powers the unit quickly. No more extension cords so I can listen to the radio whenever I'm working around the yard or at the pool.
