Bought this item to use on a boat. Like it because it performs many functions.It's compact as space is a factor and requires no electricty. Radio is loud and clear.
If you live where the power goes out occasionally, but enough to be a headache, this article is a "must have". Not only do a few twists of the handle allow you to receive important news by radio, but it also a handy flashlight.
The radio may be ok for an "emergency" and the flashlight works well but the radio portion of the radio is worthless for non emergency use. Very, very poor reception (that is getting the station tuned in well and the clarity is poor. I live in the SF Bay area and radio reception on portables is never a problem except on this unit. The solar and crank charging features seem to work ok.
awsome sounding, small size great for travel. could use better info on the USB cell phone charger or an available A/C charger. Seems solid and built well
