What a terrific item for being outdoors, particularly if the battery on your cell phone is low and you find yourself in a emergency situation.. The radio reception was crystal clear, particularly the weather band. Will take this radio on all my future trips as it is just the right size to fit into a briefcase.
I have been dieing to order this radio after the ice storm in New England. The radio was smaller that I though but it works great. It has a big sound and the light is powerful. It is great at the beach and not bulky. I don't have to worry about batteries. Great item.
I bought this for my husband to use when golfing, fishing or other outdoors activities. I showed it to him before I ordered and he was skeptical. He did not expect to much considering the price.
