Very pleased with our radio light, small, just a great little thing to carry along and no batteries. We plan to take to the lake with us and we know it will be very useful.
Although others write glowing reviews, I was disappointed that: - The solar charging has to be so precise and sitting on a window ledge isn't enough. - The light worked...one try only - The radio worked...one try only - hand crank doesn't seem to be doing anything - you can't tell by using the squishy push button when the light is supposed to be in the on or off position - no adapter included
My wife and I have been shopping for a "survival/storm radio" for quite some time. As for the Dynamo, the price and features caught our eye. I was a little skeptical at first (you get what you pay for). However, when we received it in the mail and tried it for the first time, we have been sold ever since! Highly Recommended!
This has been a record setting winter in the Philadelphia suburbs and we were inconveninced by a lengthy power outage. As soon as the electricity and phone were back in service, we ordered the multipurpose Solar Dynamo Radio Light for ourselves and for our daughters and their families, who live far from us in areas with harsh winters. We love the radio's petite size and the fact that when charging by solar power is not possible we can power the flashlight and radio by cranking the handle. A great item!
