We turned it on and it worked right out of the box. Amazing. Priced right and works as stated. We are now ready for another Tx hurricane. Last one took us by surprise, out of elec. for two weeks. Thanks
This is not suitable for a city dweller. There is no way to situate radio so it gets ten to twelve hours of sunlight. I thought I could charge it under a lamp, but the company said it had to be the sun. I returned it and am awaiting my credit. I think you should mention in the description that it needs so much sunlight. cjarcho
I'm glad I have this little radio, but it's a good thing it has the crank. It never seems to hold the charge very well just using solar power. I have discovered that the faster you crank = a longer lasting charge.
