This radio is a great addition to our emergency kit. We are amazed at how good the sound quality is. We really appreciate that it can be charged by solar or cranking, has a very bright light, and can also charge a cell phone. contrary to some reviews I have read on this radio, the sound is quite clear. if the battery dies, it starts right back up the second you crank it. have no problems picking up stations. compact, good flashlight. great for camping or if doing chores outside and want to listen to a game or NPR.
