Very comfortable with good traction on ice and snow. Easy on and off at airport security when traveling by air. Additional footwear unnecessary when a tourist thus reducing baggage weight.
This purchase represents my third pair of these shoes. I purchased the black first, then dark blue, and now tan. They are exceptionally comfortable, hold up well here in wet New Orleans, and are easy to recolor with liquid polish when they get older and show some wear on the suede. Go for it--they're a good value.
I needed a good, all-around pair of casual shoes and as a long-time L.L. Bean customer, I figured you had what I needed. Thank you for not disappointing me.
