Returned. On my foot, this edition of the shoe did this. Tongue jammed into the tendons at the front of my ankles. The top "rails" jammed into the bottom of my outside ankles. Walking hurt. Previous ones did not do this. I'm switching back to your trusty handswen camp moc series.
Nice enough for casual office shoes, and a good weekend replacement for lace-up tennis shoes. The soles are similar to good tennis shoes that are suitable for walking. I'll come back to this review after I have a chance to wear them over a long period.
The new streamlined and updated style is much too narrow. Those of you who pay attention to the number of reviews and their ratings, pay close attention to when those reviews were written or when the shoes were purchased. Those shoes purchased in 2012 were much different than the new style and they are sized much smaller!
I have bought my husband several pairs of these over the years. He loves the comfort and warmth of these. My only issue is that the rubber sole seems to come off after a long period of use. That's the only reason for 4 stars. Tried crazy gluing but didn't help. I would say it was several years before this happened, so still totally worth it as I am re-ordering another pair today.
