I got a pair of LL BEAN slip ons a Christmas ago and have worn them virtually continually. I wanted a slip on to wear outside without laces, easy to take off and on and keep the wife happy particularly in wet winter. I got these. Look great, but definately small and hard to get into. I am a very standard 10 med width. The 10 was tight with a light weight sock. I could order a 10.5, but think I'll check a store first, or maybe order another pair of slip ons.
Several years ago I ordered a pair of the Comfort Mocs, which I still have, but recently I ordered another pair. The web site said that they had been "updated." So much for messing with a good thing. The new and improved version have a smaller toe box and are not as comfortable. The old ones were comfortable right out of the box, but not the new ones. I'm returning them.
As measured, my feet are 12E width and my feet are wide at the toes. The 12EE fits more like an 11-1/2 for length and width is more like a D-E, nowhere near an actual E or EE. Very cramped toe box. Returning and ordering a 13EE to see how that fits.
Overall quality, very top shelf, the full grain leather is like you would expect on high end hiking/hunting boot and the interior is plush and very supportive.
I recently bought a pair of the MOCs. My suggestion is to order your true size at least. If you are going to be wearing socks or the Bean wool socks definitely get a wider size of order the next size up. I am a size 10 and ordered a 10, but they are only comfortable without socks. Next time I will order either a 10 wide or a 10.5 but overall I like the shoe.
