ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
These are the best shoes I've had in years. Good fit, comfortable, supportive, broken in quickly. They feel like a $100 pair of shoes to me. I wear them every day, and when they're worn out I'll buy another pair.
Though the price was right, these shoes were far too small for the size I ordered and really did not feel or look like genuine leather, but more like a cheap imitation. I rely on LLBean for quality, so these shoes were a BIG let-down. Now I have to deal with hassle of returning them if I want to recoup my money. SIZE is WAY too small for what I ordered and the shoes look plastic.
I have been buying these shoes for my son-in-law for several years. He is a college student and museum guard and wears them on duty every day. The replacements that I ordered did not fit like the previous pairs he has had. So much so that he is returning them. He is very disappointed. They are durable, an excellent value and WERE amazingly comfortable. Hope something can be done to return them to their old construction and fit.
