I bought this Mocs in Oct'14 as a nice warm indoor winter shoes. The shoes are well crafted and makes you look a little taller, which is not a bad thing. The first snow came. I wore it outside, the shoe held very good. The next was a noreaster, and then a blizzard. I wore these mocs to shovel my driveway and then would wear it to go shopping. Not a drop of water. (If your sock got wet above ankle, dont blame the mocs). Long story short, the shoes held good through a really bad winter. I am buying one more of these mocs soon. If you have any doubts about these shoes, let it rest and buy it with confidence.
I researched this type of shoe for over a week, and finally decided on this pair. Ordered these shoes for my 8th grade son to wear to school. After reading all the reviews that said to order down vs.order same size, I thought I'd take a chance and order a size 10 which is his normal gym shoe size. The arrived in a week and were beautiful right out of the box. Picky son actually loved them! Unfortunately, they were slipping off the back of his heel and they had to be exchanged. I figured a size 9.5 would be just great. (Shipping back to LLB was free, but to get the new shoe sent back to me cost me $6.50#
Size 9.5 arrived in a week, and guess what? It's still too big! Still slipping off his heel. Ugh! Now, I have to send these back to LLB and ask for an exchange #another $6.50 charge to me!) This time I'll order a size 8.5. If they come back too small, I'm done. I can't afford to keep paying money to return shoes that are not true to size. If they don't work for us, unfortunately my son will still be without a slip on shoe for school. BELIEVE THE REVIEWS WHEN THEY SAY TO ORDER DOWN A SIZE!! You might even order down 1.5 sizes.
I was looking for a nice pair of shoes to wear in Colorado. Mornings can be full sun and by the afternoon your in a snow storm. Received my shoes on Tuesday (it was 50 degrees) and woke up to an inch of snow the next day. I wore them out to run errands and on walks that had ice and my footing was great. I also have a high instep so slip on shoes are always a concern. These fit very nice with a normal sock and my feet remained warm.
Great looks, sizing was perfect. With "wide" available I went one size smaller than when "wide" is not available. Look to be very durable and they were comfortable from the go.
