So when they find a pair they like they wear them constantly. That is certainly the case with these LLBean mocs. My husband has gone through two pairs and I have recently ordered him two more-- these are the smooth leather. Although he loved his old pairs, now in tatters after constant wear, he thinks the two new pairs look better and feel better. He may even decide to sleep in them.

It's tough to find suede slip-on shoes nowadays. It's tougher to find them at a reasonable price (less than $80) or with a low/wide sole so the wearer doesn't feel like he is teetering on stilts. These shoes satisfy all those desires. Plus, for unstable walkers like me, the sole has just enough texture to keep me from slipping on wet surfaces but not so much as to pick up grit, stones, sticks, etc. I tried out one pair then bought several.
Compared to the old style these ran a little smaller, but were still comfortable. I'm sure they will be fine when they break in some more. Still a great shoe for the money.
