The shorts are perfect. They are comfortable and the wash and wear perfectly. The fabric is always nice and keeps its shape. They are not the"Wash and Wear Once" kind. I have purchased gifts from your store for my daughter and grandchildren and it is always a treat to get "LLBean clothes."
I will start off with saying the material is very nice. The leg openings are just right. But the waist is big and the hips are small. I don't know anyone with a large waist and small hips. I think the fit should be described better.
I originally had bought the twill walking shorts with 9" inseam at store as I had bought them in the past. When I got them home, I could not believe how wide the legs were! I did not keep these either as they seem to run small. I ended up with the comfort waist which I really like! Bottom Line: Go back to consistency in sizing!
